Our Learning Aims

The Learning Support Faculty team liaise closely with our local Primary School’s prior to students arriving in our School.  We believe that the curriculum should meet the needs of all students regardless of ability, culture or background.  We work together closely with parents, as parental involvement is invaluable in addressing and identifying our individual student’s needs.

We endeavour to identify any special educational needs as early as possible and offer appropriate support in terms of resources and teacher time.  Modern facilities aim to provide full access to students with physical difficulties.  Ramps are provided to all entrances and exits and there are lifts available in school.

The Learning Support Faculty provides the necessary support for all students in achieving their full potential and is a fundamental contributor to the improving academic performance of the School.

With attendance at 95% we’ve had our best results at KS3 and GCSE.
