Welcome to our school

Witton Park Academy has strong traditions of providing a stimulating, disciplined, secure and a very caring environment in which all children can succeed together.

I am very proud of our school and its achievements. Over recent years we have achieved fantastic GCSE results, which are the reward for everyone’s hardwork.

Results in 2016 have remained strong across the school. 76% of pupils achieved A*-C in GCSE maths and 70% in English Language, with 66% of pupils achieving a good pass in both maths and English.

31% of pupils achieved the EBacc performance measure which is significantly above the national average.  In the government’s new progress 8 performance measure we achieved +0.25.  This roughly equates to all pupils achieving a quarter of a grade better than the target set by the government.  Pupils from all starting points have made very good if not outstanding progress, of which we are tremendously proud.

Vision and Ethos

Our success is firmly based on developing positive relationships with students. Knowing students as individuals and working closely with our parents makes a significant difference in their achievement. We place great importance on providing a calm, supportive and academically challenging learning environment.

Succeeding together is at the centre of all that we do in school, whether it’s sporting, cultural, residential or academic. This ensures each student is given the very best opportunity to flourish.

I hope our website gives you a good insight into our school. If you would like to arrange a visit please email info@wittonpark.org.uk or download our prospectus from the foot of the page.
